About
Your Trusted Care Partner
Harbour of Hope is a specialist provider of supported living, domiciliary care, and residential support — built around people, not processes. We work with young people and adults whose lives have complex layers: learning disabilities, mental health challenges, autism, ADHD, substance misuse, and the needs that come with growing older. Our job is to meet each person exactly where they are, and walk with them toward the life they want to live.
Aims and Objectives
- To deliver personalised, needs-led support shaped entirely by each individual's goals and preferences.
- To promote and actively encourage independence at every appropriate stage of a person's journey.
- To ensure all services are inclusive, equitable, and free from discrimination.
- To provide flexible, high-quality care that evolves as the person's needs and ambitions change.
- To achieve lasting positive outcomes in health, wellbeing, and community inclusion.

We are proud to offer specialist, person-centred care for individuals across a wide range of needs, with particular expertise in supporting young people experiencing the transition to independent adult life and those with complex mental health challenges. Our approach is rooted in each person's unique goals, values, and aspirations. We do not believe in one-size-fits-all care every individual receives a support plan developed in genuine partnership with them, shaped around what matters most to them personally. We are deeply committed to creating environments that are safe, nurturing, and purposeful — where recovery, stability, and personal growth are not just possible, but actively supported. By promoting empowerment, independence, and informed choice, we help individuals develop the confidence and daily living skills needed to progress toward more independent living in the future. Through this integrated, compassionate care model, we aim to make a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of those we support.
Our Core Values
We believe every young person and adult deserves the opportunity to live a life they find meaningful. Our mission is to build confidence and genuine self-worth by empowering individuals to engage in purposeful activities and feel truly valued. We listen carefully to each person’s preferences, history, and aspirations, ensuring the care they receive reflects what matters most to them.
We Encourage and Promote:
- Freedom of choice and self-determination in everyday life
- Respect for civil and human rights at all times
- Protection of personal confidentiality and privacy
- Dignity and mutual respect in every interaction
- Equal opportunity and inclusive practice across all services
- Active encouragement of independence and personal growth
